The company

Our client Springco works on the development of urban areas from the people's perspective through data analysis and machine learning. They predict in which neighborhoods and which type of homes you would like to live in, which parks you like, which school you send your children to, how and where you want to go out, etc. In short; our client is concerned with urban analytics. Our client ensures that products, services, and policies meet the needs of society in a helpful and constructive manner by mapping the ambitions, preferences, and behavior of individual people using data and forecasting techniques. With this, they help their customers to identify development opportunities and provide them with the insights to respond appropriately.

The job

You are responsible for building the data platform together with the team of data scientists and other external partners;

You devise, design, build and manage data processes that ensure that the algorithms can make even more impact than they already do;

You help the data scientists and other colleagues with setting up their own data processes;

You manage the platform and proactively think about various improvements in the field of storage, quality, monitoring, processes, and security.

The profile

You have a degree in a relevant field, for example: data science, computer science, or information technology;

You are proficient in Python;

Knowledge of R and GIS is helpful;

Experience with Cloud (Azure / AWS) is a nice-to-have;

It's a plus if you have experience with Airflow and products from AWS, Azure.
