The job

KDIS is growing the solutions sales in the three pillars of the Kyocera sales strategy.
- ECM/DMS solutions sales in the EMEA region is the major focus area;
- The solutions associated with Production Printing are important to enhance our product capability to fulfil our customers’ requirements;
- The printing-related solutions are essential to differentiate our offering and enable Kyocera to sell our printers/MFPs with high value.

The Expert Pre-Sales will be responsible for supporting the growth of Kyocera solutions sales in the three areas by qualifying the KDIS partners and do a direct touch in the market.

What does this role entail?
- Create onboarding program for the partners in the three solutions domain (ECM/DMS, Production Printing & MDS);
- Help the partners in qualifying the RFP & RFQ and answering the technical assessment of the RFIs;
- Provide the partners with on-the-job training by writing the technical proposal and the technical part of the SOW for at least one tender with each partner;
- Analyze market requirements for current and future products by market research, including continuous contact with partners and customers;
- Align with the KDIS Service team to understand each partner’s service capabilities;
- Monitor performance and analyse results to enable and lead continuous improvements;
- Communicate the value proposition of the Kyocera solutions’ products to the KDIS Partners and utilize the sales enablement tools to support the selling process;
- Assist KDIS partners’ sales team in providing commercial justification and ROI scenarios to justify the customer’s investment in Kyocera solutions.
- Arrange the correct setup for the KDIS test environment for all Kyocera solutions in close cooperation with DX.
- Develop and implement Pre-sales training working with all related departments and sales regions
- Create Kyocera MDS (MPS) solution modules for tenders
- Demonstrate a specific Kyocera MDS SW/HW bundle and benefits by installing a complete Solution Package (Hardware, Software & Services) to the required Customer's location
- Plan, create and transfer the required MDS product knowledge to the Customers/Partners, with the objective of enabling them to use, manage, and operate their acquired Software Product as specified in the contracted document environment
- Focus on one or more product lines (for example, HyPAS embedded applications, Document Management Systems, Print Output Software, etc.)
- Cultivate a strong network of internal relationships to identify appropriate resources to execute on strategies by gaining the trust and confidence of the business leaders of your services in the market.
- Assist in implementing the sales strategy as set by the GM KDIS; including strategies for encouraging repeated business and up-selling;
- Maintain a structured filing system where all relevant correspondences with customers are saved and which is easily accessible.
- Assist with post-sales implementation of technical solutions & MDS services
- Assist the business in the continuous development of products, software and services, coming from market and industry trends and research

 

The profile

Your knowledge and experience
- The Pre-Sales Solutions would ideally have a Bachelor's degree in IT or Technology with a background in a business or marketing-related field, providing the relevant business, communication know-how and strategic-thinking;
- Your employment history (at least 5 years) must include past experience in a similar role and a demonstrated ability to work well in an intercultural environment;
- Strong knowledge using Microsoft suite and other relevant IT tools;
- Strong knowledge of print management software;
- CCNA, Windows Clustering, Unix and SQL Database experience and qualifications would be beneficial;
- Fluency in English (spoken and written);
- A proven track record of selling CPP contracts and workflow solutions;
- Knowledge of the Print & Copier Market;
- Knowledge in VMware / KVM/Xen, PCL/PS programming, Basic Java Programming, Linux shell, C++ programming;
- Software and hardware knowledge of computing, storage and peripheral devices;
- Advanced proficiency with case management databases and tools;
- Superior customer service skills.
