The job
As Applied Medical propel their IT services forward to better serve the team members, they are in search of a Senior Modern Endpoint Engineer to join the team at their European headquarters based in Amersfoort. With over 60 dedicated IT professionals they are committed to enhancing their business model through vertical integration. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure the consistent delivery of vital services, including hardware and software management, issue resolution, and proactive measures to elevate the user experience.
Beyond individual responsibilities, the Senior Endpoint Engineer will play a crucial role in providing strategic guidance, driving initiatives, and fostering innovation. With a specific focus on hardware and software intricacies, the objective is to cultivate a dependable IT environment for end-users while upholding rigorous standards for the team. Also, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Team Leader ATS-Modern Endpoint Management in overseeing daily operations aimed at maintaining and standardizing end-user IT services. Collaborating closely with both local and international IT teams, you'll ensure the seamless delivery of essential services, including hardware and software management, issue resolution, and proactive measures to enhance user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Endpoint Support and Configuration
Assign work areas and set priorities in tasks, responsibilities, and projects.
Resolve advanced technical issues.
Manage the provisioning and maintenance of end-user assets, ensuring a standardized and efficient endpoint environment.
Undertake proactive IT maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability of endpoints.
Lead improvements in endpoint management, ensuring a seamless lifecycle for operating systems, software, and telephony optimizing hardware configurations, and ensuring compatibility.
Administration and documentation
Create, organize, and keep forms and administrative records efficiently.
Produce comprehensive technical and end-user support documentation to ease effective knowledge sharing.
Projects
Defining project scope, goals, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Actively contribute to one or more phases of the project.
Process Improvement
Complete individual deliverables within the project. Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in policies, processes, procedures, and/or systems exceeding own department. Manage implementation of improvement in processes, procedures and/or systems.
The profile
A finished Bachelor education within the IT environment.
4+ years of progressive experience in a similar job role, with at least two years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Proficient in deploying software using tools such as MDT, SCCM, or equivalent deployment platforms.
Demonstrated expertise in packaging and deploying applications.
Proficient in scripting, adapting, and optimizing for evolving needs, with expertise in scripting languages such as PowerShell.
Exceptional troubleshooting skills for Windows OS and Apple OS (iOS) systems.
Well-versed in general network support and skilled in IP phone support.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and MS Endpoint Manager.
Comprehensive grasp of Microsoft 365, including its diverse applications and services.
