De functie
The Sr. Mechanical Engineer / Designer is responsible for both quality assurance and the performance of developed machines, components and systems from a mechanical perspective.
Design of ultra-precision (metrology) machines, components and systems
Responsible for the entire process from specification to realization
Collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team of engineers
Being able to work independently and be a good team player as well
Be a direct contact for both customers and suppliers
Het profiel
A relevant study on academic level (mechanics / precision engineering)
Thorough knowledge of precision design principles (nanometer-scale)
Experience in working with 3D CAD systems (CREO/NX)
Knowledge of FEM analyses with COMSOL
Thorough experience with creating and reviewing technical documents
Good communicative skills, both verbally and in writing
Fuent in English and preferably Dutch; knowledge of German is a plus
Pro-active attitude
Broad technical knowledge considering the diversity of projects
