Job description

As an Hardware Electronics Engineer, you will design the technology of the future. Using solid knowledge from your experience, you will play an important role in the development of a variety of useful products as well as modifications and improvements to existing products. You will be responsible to update systems by improving the components, layout and design for increased efficiency. Specifically, you will analyse existing systems to identify flaws or inefficiencies and use problem-solving skills, including both inductive and deductive reasoning, to make modifications that will increase the functions of the product. Based on careful calculations and advanced knowledge of electronics, hardware you will develop new designs in the existing components, such as microchips and circuit boards, and then integrate these components in a form fitting layout.

What will you be doing?

Design new product and maintain all digital electrical boards and/or Analog, circuits, components and interconnects;
Develop and implement product designs and provide support to production and ensure compliance to time-frame, quality and cost targets;
Manage technical aspects and monitor efficient deployment of new technologies and systems;
Ensure product compatibility with technical architectures;
Coordinate with product development teams to perform feasibility tests;
Prepare statistical reports for product deployment schedules and provide recommendation to management for review and approval;
Collaborate with cross functional design teams such as hardware, mechanical and Software;
Collaborate with outsourced Validation and Manufacturing partners to ensure timely supply of systems and devices as per specification;
Develop electro-mechanical enclosures and packaging to safe-pack products;
Evaluate new software and hardware during deployment to ensure smooth functioning of system;
Coordinate with client’s engineering team and management to ensure efficiency;
Provide training to junior engineers and supervise work to ensure compatibility and reliability.

Job Requirements

You have experience with:
Altium Designer PCB layout and schematic design;
Analog design, design of sensor interfaces, power electronics; (design of power supplies, magnetics, thermal design)
Experience: Microcontrollers, digital design;
Experience: EMC, LVD certification. It is a strong pro if you have experience with ATEX.
