The job
You are passionate about Performance Testing and have experience with various testing types, such as load, volume, and spike testing.
Setting up, documenting, maintaining, and sharing performance testing knowledge both within and outside the test team energizes you.
You are capable of independently defining the scope of tests based on business requirements and performance criteria, you can plan, design, prepare, execute, and report performance tests effectively.
Quality is your top priority. You work with precision and structure and understand the importance of a solid testing approach. You are also flexible, creative, and supportive toward
different teams.
You have knowledge of and/or interest in programming languages that support performance testing, such as Groovy, Java, or Python. Experience with or interest in test automation is a big plus!
The software solutions are built to support government organizations in various developing countries and islands, including Curaçao, Anguila, Bonaire, Suriname, Peru, Ghana, and the Marshall Islands.
Together with your team you make a real impact on the digital transformation of the entire society of these countries.
In your versatile role you are responsible for performance testing and related processes using tooling. Besides this, you work on the further development and professionalization of performance testing within the company.
You become part of the diverse and multicultural Test Team, consisting of 18 colleagues from across the Netherlands, Curaçao, Suriname, Colombia,
Poland, and Canada. There is room for new ideas and the team is open to new input, which makes it a great place for development.
Your responsibilities:
- Further develop and professionalize performance testing;
- Perform several types of performance testing like load, volume, spike and more;
- Plan (independently determine scope with business requirements and performance criteria), design, prepare, run, and report performance tests;
- Analyze and performing support in root cause analysis;
- Setting up, documenting, maintaining, and sharing performance testing knowledge in and outside the test team;
- Consolidate experiences, test ware, facts and numbers.
The profile
You have obtained a diploma in Computer Science or a similar study;.
You have at least 5 years experience as a Performance Tester.
Experience and knowledge of test automation, is a nice plus.
TMap® Suite Test Engineer and/or ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level.
ISTQB Performance Testing is a plus.
Analytical and technical skills.
Proven experience with Performance testing and tooling like JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or others.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English and/or Dutch.
The offer
Above-market salary ranging from €4,500 up to €6,510 gross per month.
Paid time off: 28 vacation days per year, with the option to buy or sell up to 8 additional days.
Holiday allowance: 8.33% holiday pay per year.
Additional compensation: A variable gross bonus equivalent to one extra monthly salary per year, paid out monthly.
Expense allowance: A fixed gross expense allowance of €300 per month, which can be converted into net reimbursements (e.g., internet or remote work allowance).
